That is a stock photo from Extreme Aire...The actual compressor is virtually blemish-free (it was repainted to factory color), it has the one way valve and fittings on the output, and the power / ground wires have been shortened

This is a serious compressor w/ a big, reliable motor - big motor = big power draw. In fairness, most larger compressors by Viair and others have similar draws.
