$10 K for just the hull?
Looks like it would be one hell of a restoration challange. Ethier that or a huge re-engineering challange.

http://www.searoader.com - a build it yourself amphib, usually Land Rover based, but with enough lee-way to use a whole variety of others.

I see you mentioned the Humdinga, but did you see the other offerings from Gibbs (http://www.gibbstech.co.uk/)? The Aquada:

and my personal favorite, the Quadski:

Sadly the Aquada is no longer built (and it was £100,000 anyway) the Humdinga is only a prototype to show to the military, and the Quadski? Well it's a bit small isn't it?

WOW!
I see that the maker of the Watercar now has an amphibious Jeep. Looks pretty cool!

But, of course, putting a hull under a Jeep doesn't do much for the ground clearance.

I was planning on putting it in the garage portion of this:

There is also the FastTrack, which is a bit different.

Highest Speed on Land 65 mph
Highest Speed on Ice 55 mph
Top Speed on Water 39 mph
So they claim, but do you need a special driver's licence I wonder?
