I met them in Dakar/Senegal one day. To get there you have to cross parts of the Sahara desert. Some nasty sandy parts on that route!
Anyhow, I couldn't believe it when I saw that thing rolling into the campground I was staying. because I knew first hand how difficult it was to get there, I had to ask the driver how the heck he made it through the desert without 6x6.... His response was: SPEED :elkgrin: It's apparently very difficult to get a truck that size stuck in sand when you keep your speed up:smiley_drive:
