Control road to mt. Lemon

We plan to drive up to Mt. Lemon on the control road, (3/31) has anyone been up that way in the past few weeks. How is the condition of the road? Thanks, see you at the Expo

I haven't been up there, but I would be willing to bet that it is still closed for the season based on how much snow we've had... Perhaps start at the top and work your way down since you will meet the gate right away rather than after driving in 20 miles or so from Oracle.

Posted dates for closure are Dec. 15 through March 1st. I think it will probably be open but don't quote me on that!:ylsmoke:

People have been driving/riding around the gate at the bottom end and driving up the road all winter long so who knows????

I called them about a month ago and they told me it was going to stay closed this year until May 1st, because there was so much snow.
