I've found several Jerry cans locally, made by Midwest Can C. They look like NATO cans (welded, with the cantilever spouts), but the spout is a parallel shape, not round. I was sorely tempted to buy a few for $30.00 each, but I thought I ought to ask around first.
They also have a few Blitz non-carb cans at $60.00 each

I just bought a new Jerry can, unsure of the cost but had to buy the new spout and cap to de- californiaize it and it cost me $70. If you can get one that does not leak, has no plastic, and has caps and filler necks for $30 bucks, who cares who made it.

I couldn't care less WHO makes something, so long as it works. But it never hurts to ask around to find out if it's trash or not.

I've found several Jerry cans locally, made by Midwest Can C. They look like MATO cans (welded, with the cantilever spouts), but the spout is a parallel shape, not round. I was sorely tempted to buy a few for $30.00 each, but I thought I ought to ask around first.
Looks like Midwest Can Co. has gone CARB so maybe you saw old stock? Did they look like these only with a non-round spout?

That's the one. I just got off the phone with MCC and John told me that they're honest to goodness NATO cans, and their #7410 spout fits it (not that I need the spout). I'm going up to buy six tonight @ $30.00. Anyone else want some?

__
/__\ Actually they're trapezoid in shape.
To the OP, that's a decent price. I also don't use the spout any longer. Difficult to find a spout that doesn't leak gas. Instead I use a simple Siphon.

Who sells them. I don't see prices on their site or a place to locate retailers....

Murdock's in Casper, Wyoming. They have three on the shelf ( I bough four, not six- no need to be greedy). They still have seven pre-CARB (I feel like I'm describing AK47's) Blitz cans.
When I spoke with Midwest, John told me that these cans were made in Europe by the same manufacturer that makes NATO cans. He also told me that "Murdock's loaded up on them" prior to the ban, so you might be able to walk into any of their stores and pick up a few.
I was wrong about the spout number, though. It's #5710.

Exactly like that.
BTW- the price went up since Saturday to $34.99.

That's still a good deal. I payed ~$50 ea for my Wedco's last year. However, that did include spouts for both of them.
