I have a slightly used Xantrex C12 solar charge controller. Was going to be used in my trailer project, but I ended up selling it.

How large of an array did you use it for?

I don't think it's meant to be mounted out in the open. I had it mounted in my trailer's nose box controlling one 120W panel. Check the link in my first post. I think the manual can be downloaded from there.

Edit: The manual says it is "Suitable for outdoor use when protected from direct rain and sunlight."
