I think it is a custom jobber or a special vehicles make. I know the 109's had the Dormobile that had a similar setup. I am not aware of any mass production 110's with that setup.

I think a company in Europe makes those camper units for LC troopies and 110s. I had a link saved, but can't find it right now. I'll keep looking.
(They may reference it on that site.)

i bet slee off road could make one, or a custom one. or a fab shop that makes custom truck utility beds.
You can buy other ones here

Them Germans are whacky with this stuff
Check out the first page
http://www.ex-tec.de/
Then click around to the Defender stuff. I dreamt about it one day....then gave up. On the other side from the kitchen is more storage and such.
EDIT: here's a picture of the inside, kinda. I have others on my work computer that I'll post tomorrow

Good call Peter. Love the Ex-tec site, they have some cool stuff. I like this for minimal impact to the truck:

Here are the pictures I was thinking of. Real tempting, but real expensive. It's almost like putting a diesel in your truck :)
Eeeek!!! They have the exact water tank I was thinking of!!

Don't mind the babble fish translation. I just need to find out what a nachruestung and brausegarnitur are.
EDIT: After looking around the Landy Kamper site more, I like the looks of it. They have a lot more photos and the pop-up roof idea as well. Ahhhhh....to dream....
And lastly, i really like this idea. I was thinking of putting a water tank there, but I like more storage especailly for recovery gear.

I ran it through bablefish and just pasted that URL instead of theirs. Thanks for the translation, that makes sense now. I have sent them an email and we'll see if I get a response. Hopefully they can understand it.

My 110 came with storage boxs on all four corners of the rear body. Both in front of the wheel and behind with access from the wheel well. Not sure what was stored there but gives a person some more storage for odds and ends.

Mark, I'll probably PM you tomorrow. I haven't heard back from my horrible translation of an email so I could use some help.
I'm now digging the unit that stays just on the wheel well as I plan to put something across the wheel wells and keep drawers under that, much like the African Outback but not the cost.
