I've got a month or 2 until I get my hands back on the M725. I think I've got the sleeping arrangements figured out by using a fold out bed on the back from a travel trailer.

But.. I still need to work out standing height in the bed area. The total truck width is 85", but I think the box is a little less, but not by much.

The 80" width of the full size 'grandby' four wheel camper pop top looks like it would be a really good fit here.

the truck:

I'm thinking if I grab a used Grandby I can use the top and the opening mechanism with some work. I should also be able to salvage the cook top, sink, and maybe the heater.

Has anyone here tried something like this ? (I know I've seen a few westy tops used here and there). Or any pics of a FWC apart could be pretty helpful

Thanks
Jason

FWC West isn't all that far from you. Perhaps they would be willing to help?

Yeah.. I'm definitely thinking about looking them up. If anything just to make sure I can source fresh 'canvas' for whatever used one I end up with.

what about something like this?

You could graft the pop up on the roof of the M725, have a bed up there with access from below.
