The website lists the width of the BigFoot 1500 at 7'11".

A container door is 7'8". I am trying to see if there is anyway to make it fit.

If someone here has a BigFoot 1500 truck camper, would you mind confirming that the width is indeed 7.11'?
Also, does that include the awning/side electric jack?

I am hoping it does and that these could be removed to gain this 1.5" I need on both side.

ummmm 7.11 is less than 7.8

.69" clearance or .345 clearance on either side of it.

sorry if that sounds like im trying to be a smartA there. but is there anything im missing?

Probably should read 7' 11" and 7' 8". Otherwise that would be one small container and camper at only 7"s.

I have a Bigfoot 1500 that is being replaced with a 2500 tomorrow. I found this thread as I was searching for 1500's for sale to determine the value of mine for when it goes up for sale. It is a shortbed model 1500C 8.2.

The fiberglass camper itself is 7'11". The jacks are a bit wider in the front, and including the "port" for the machanical jack handle they are 8'1" wide. If you removed the jacks you are still stuck with the 7'11" width that cannot be lessened. Hope this helps.

Thanks - it does help!

Have-you sold the 1500C 8.2 already? That is the model I had in mind.

No it is not sold. I am picking up a larger camper tomorrow, and then I was going to put this one up for sale. You may PM me for details if you are interested.
