In the near future Dodge is coming out with a 5500 model with a big cummins and alison transmission(for 2008). I am helpping my step dad build a vehicle for long range travel and some 4x4. He currently has a Sports Mobile Ford van with a power stroke. He wants something with better living area. The van lacks storage space and the bed folds out and is in the middle of the living space. By getting a camper/truck type rig he can move the bed away from the living area. He realizes that he is going to loose some 4x4 capibility. I was wondering on what you all thought of this and I also wanted to here ideas and suggestions. Thanks.
