We have a small supply of Eezi Awn Series 1000 Awnings that we must sell. These have been in our warehouse for some time, and not listed on the site before. Eezi Awn has updated a few things on the most recent edition, and we want to make room for the new stock coming soon.
The Series 1000 Awning comes in an anodized aluminum case similar to the Series 2000 Awning, but this model is a roll up version. All legs and rafter arms roll up in the case. You can mount the case directly to the side of a rack.
I have attached a few photos for you as well.
We have 2 sizes available. A 2 meter length which measures 79", and a 1.8 meter length measuring 71".
Eezi Awn Series 1000 Awning
2 meter: Reg. $320, Sale $270, SOLD OUT!
1.8 meter: Reg. $300, Sale $250, SOLD OUT!
Shipping will run from $20-40 depending on location and commercial/residential delivery.
Please let me know if you are interested.
Cheers,

Hey Paul!
What is type of fabric is it? Waterproof?
How far from the vehicle do they open? Are the legs aluminum as well?

I'll take one of the large (2m) awnings. I'll bring you cash this weekend if you'll be around.

Hey Mark,
Here is what the Eezi-Awn site says.
"They are precision made to the highest standards with top quality Uv stable Oxford Nylon fabric housed in a compact lightweight anodised aluminium casing. There are no loose parts to unfold. All legs, arms etc. are of an integral design and easily fold into the casing. The Uv stable Oxford Nylon fabric is water resistant, fungi proof and can be roll up wet."
The poles and rafter arms are aluminum as well.
Hey Roger,
I'll put you down for one 2 meter unit. I am around this weekend. Give me a buzz.
Cheers,

Paul,
Can you take a picture of the mount you're using on the Front Runner rack?

Both the Series 1000 and 2000 awnings are designed to mount however you choose to. You can quite literally drill through the back of the casing and bolt it right to side of the rack.
The Series 2000 retractable awnings come with an extrusion that holds a male welt on the top back of the casing and sets the bottom of the casing on a small shelf. A small stainless screw is all that is necessary to hold the case to the extrusion. You mount the extrusion any way you choose. The Series 1000 awnings do not come with these extrusions. They are available for $20.
Mounting to the Front Runner racks is pretty slick. I mount mine by way of a steel flat stock that is bent on a 90 so that I bolt one end to the bottom of the rack using the "T" slot system, and then the awning extrusion is bolted to the vertical face of the flat stock.
Here are some old photos of the awning mounted to a rack I had before the Front Runner rack. It gives you a good idea on how it goes.

Can I mount this to an SD rack on my Discovery? If so, put me down for one.

With a little bit of ingenuity, I don't see why not. What are currently being used to mount axe, shovel, hi-lifts to the side of SD racks? Would a similar mount allow a case to fasten to it?
shipping would be $26

After clarification from Paul on mounting I realized that I won't be able to use the awning as I had hoped too! Bump for a great product at an awesome price!!

Just as mentioned above. Everything was great, the product, the buying experience, I couldn't be happier. If anybody is on the fence regarding this product, do not hesitate. You will not be disappointed.
If anybody has a Garvin Wilderness Rack, I can share a super clean install.
