Ok I'll try to keep this short...We live near a lake in Colorado and we are looking for a kayak for recreation/fitness. It needs to be easily portable, and since we cannot decide between 2 solo's or a tandem I have decided on a tandem that does alright solo. A canoe seems too big. I think I have it narrowed down to the Ocean Kayak Malibu 2 XL until I came across the Point65 Tequila.

Has anyone had any experience with the Point65 Tequila?? Any ideas/opinions?

Thanks!

Have you checked out the Pamlico kayaks? You can paddle them tandem or solo just by sliding the rear seat forward. I have never paddled a Pamlico, but I was thinking about getting one for my wife and I. I was interested in the 160T, and they make the shorter one, the 145T also.

Thanks! That does look nice! What intrigued me about the Point65 Tequila was its ability to collapse to fit into any car. Not sure if its "gimicky" but all the research I could find was positive. The Pamlico would allow me to paddle in colder months. Thanks again!

You can checkout the Pamilco at most REI stores, they usually have them instock.
