This is a photoshop pic, but someday someone's going to build it. There are a few that are similar that have been built...but this one makes my day. Wish i had the talent and tools/space.

Being an MJ guy, I'd have to agree with you. All it needs is a CRD!

i just saw that one too I'd love to build it but I have no need for a double cab that why i got rid of my tacoma.
elcoyote I would agree any MJ can be made all that much better with a CRD!

oh, yeah...
to cut an xj to a pick-up you can also just build a internal roll cage to get structural integrity.

That is cool huh John! This is what I am still debating on doing...

Just need to figure out how to make the new interior plastic molds and how to cleanly stretch the cab. This is the hardest part because of how unique the MJ floor is. Dreams.. I guess this one will just have to work.

Shouldn't be too hard to do the interior, from the rear doors forward the plastics of the suv will work, then form the rear doors back the truck parts will work.
But if your going to make a quad cab truck you should stretch it and put the 6' bed on rather than shortening the bed.

i think i's lengthen the mj frame and get an old xj for the body parts. this way the interior is also dealt with. you just have to modify the rear doors.
i know, i know - easier said than done, but it's possible...
