So I think I may have found my truck I would like to buy. Its a 96 Tacoma Reg cab 4x4 4cyl 5spd manual. Its located in Manheim PA (Anyone wanna go take a look at it for me :).

:wings:

Now I have a question for the group. What should I be looking for/asking about/pictures of, on this truck? From online pics it looks pretty clean. I have asked for rocker, under door, bed/tailgate, frame and engine pics. I have also asked about maintenance (tune up, clutch, brakes, etc.). Is there anything 96 Tacoma specific I should be on the look out for. The truck is 9 hours away so I dont want to drive all the way out there just to get burned.

Any tips and advice would be appreciated.

The main problem with early Tacomas is frame rust. Mine is a '97 with no frame rust (but I live in the dry desert).
