Unicat has constructed a mega-camper using the Mecedes Actros 6x6 chassis. I think this is the first Unicat using Actros. Here it is with the top raised

See more photos on the Unicat web site http://www.unicat.net/en/info/EX70HDM-MBActros6x6.html

The Actros is Mercedes' standard heavy duty truck chassis. The Zetros is the rough road/military chassis, and the Unimog is Mercedes' "no road, no problem" specialist.

Wow ! I really like that hard-side lifting roof arrangement. That has to be the biggest winch I have ever seen. That teaser photo of the interior, at the end, looks like the interior of a really high end yacht ! :Wow1:

I bet the interior (and entire camper, for that matter) is similar to their MAN 6x6 rig. More photos can be found here:

Unbelievable amount of man hours in those Unicats! The attention to detail is just mind blowing. I'm glad I had the opportunity working on those.

Interesting that the signage of the MB dealership behind the Unicat Actros is in Chinese! Where is that vehicle headed?
