I have the normal three batteries in my U500. In front of these I have two UPS-size 12v batteries. Any guess what that's about?
When I add four house batteries I'll have nine total. I'm afraid of using up my karmic lifetime battery allowance.

The 2 motorcycle batteries are for the EAS system, I think to be able to shift it into neutral with engine off. Much of the electronics is 24V but for the non EAS versions the convertor in the cab is enough.
I have 5 more batteries in mine - 4 4D Lifeline house batteries plus one yellow optima to start the generator. But I can interconnect them with switches which gives me redundancy as far as starting is concerned, also if my battery charger dies I can charge the camper straight from the alternator.

Well, that's complicated. Are there low discharge motorcycle batteries?
As far as the starting batteries, what a good replacement? The spec says Delphi 1150. Is that a group 31?
I do want to replace all 5.
I would like low self discharge batteries

Odyssey Batteries are currently the best.

The issue is size. I'm not sure what a "delco 1150" is.

It's a size 31 but a size 31 Odyssey is a tiny bit too large to fit into the holes. So i filled in the holes with thin pieces of plywood and hold the batteries down with a ratchet strap.
