Don't really care for the flat fender look on XJ's.....

I'm dying to see a set up close. I like the look of these flats but I have never been a fan of the looks of cutouts though. What really impresses me is that Bushwacker has developed and fielded a new product for a vehicle that hasn't been manufactured in almost ten years. To me that speaks volumes about the company and the XJ.

Those are sweet, if I had an XJ I would use them.

They'd look good on a nice olice drab XJ. ;)
I just rec'd my cut out style flares, there are 60, yes SIXTY steps in the instructions!!
I looked at the pictures adn I think I might have already cut away too much metal. lololol

They are pretty cool. I got a crazy brainstorm looking at them, I was inspired by a farmers tractor. I was thinking that there has to be a second use for the big flat surface on top, and my first idea was some small driving lights maybe. But my better idea would be to make some like that out of metal then attach a small tool box or something to it (inspired tractors). It might look kind of dorky but it would be unique and useful. And actually you could do the tool box and driving lights together. Just a crazy idea.....

I think it's a good idea but depending on terrain, you're effectively adding more stuff that could be ripped off by a tree or low branch.
If you crawl rocks to get to the site, I wonder if they break easily

They are neat looking if you want $500 worth of fenders. Jeeps come with factory fenders. They also bolt up to some of the factory holes. Which means that you can do very little trimming. Lots of other stuff to do to the JEEP with $500. Just My .02
