question about a montero sport [Archive]

Hello... dont own a montero but the fiancee does. was just noticing the other day that she has a button that is labeled "a/t mode." hers is not 4x4 so just wondering what this is.....

When the A/T button is pressed, the vehicle starts off in 2nd gear instead of first gear. It is to aid in traction on snowy days and the like. Not sure how well this feature works but I'll let you know in a few days when I get mine.

awesome man! is that an xosel (sp?) light bar? been thinking about getting one myself so i can have something around then then fab up some limb risers bc my lights get ATE UP most places around here by branches.
