Tuffy or similar box anywhere in front on your XJ?

Has anyone put a lock box, like the Tuffy mini-security lock box, somewhere in their XJ? I want something up front that I can put my stereo faceplate in. I WISH Tuffy would make us XJ owners a locking center console or glovebox insert. I am not looking to put it in the trunk...something easy up front that looks nice too?

Not as convenient, but a small gunsafe would fit under the drivers seat.

Tuffy makes both an insert for factory consoles and they make a stand alone console also. I have the insert and love it!!!! Its great for locking away handguns, wallet or whatever else you can jam into it. I give this four star ratings.....

Appears to be big enough for my faceplate and under $40...gonna give it a shot. Once I get it I'm going to look into a semi-permanent mounting option. (Until Tuffy makes us a console...Tuffy, you listening?)
