I've got a Sven saw that I've had for 20+ years--guess I've got my money's worth!! It's getting a bit dull though, and I'd like to get another saw--what do people recommend? Note: by "best" I don't necessarily mean "most expensive" I'm just looking for one that is well-built, folds down and stores nicely, and has nice action while you're using it.

Thanks!

For backpacking I had a 20+ year old Sven too. After looking around, I didn't find anything better so I bought a new Sven about a year ago. Still the best light weight colapsable saw made IMHO.

well, as ive used my felco saw for ~10 years without issue (im an arborist and use it almost daily). its not really a camping saw, but they do have a folder and i dont think sharpening is ever needed :)
