Guys and gals:
If you intend on getting rid of your winch anytime soon, I might be the buyer. I "need" one for my Jeep.

I'm not picky about the brand, and a 8000 lbs rating is sufficient. Let me know the what you got . . .

I got an excellent deal on my Superwinch EP9.0 with synthetic line from Winchline.com, one of the ExPo sponsors. I would suggest giving them a call and talking to Jon about one. (I was not paid for this endorsement. :) ) It's a nice package that includes a pulley block standard, which is a $60 gift. You could stick with the steel line to save some bucks... EP9s are available for under $600 from a number of places.

Wil and Sierra Expeditions still has one of the best prices around on the M8000. I also hear he's a pretty decent guy :p

Thanks for the responses, boys, but I'm holding out for a used one for the sake of budget. However, the FlyingKuhns are a good source for all of our favorite "devices of family safety."

Re-bump. I'm not in much of a hurry.
