has anyone used the topos from this site for your Garmin gps?

http://www.bajagpsmaps.com/

i know there are a few options like lbmaps.com, but this one looked semi-promising and can't find any reviews. would love to hear any personal use reviews.

thx!

Other than custom built topo maps, I have not seen any commercially available maps that can be loaded directly onto Garmin GPS receivers other than the Garmin Mapsource street and topo maps sold by Garmin. I would love to hear from anyone that has tried this product. Also if there are other commercially available detailed topos of other areas that can be downloaded and run on Garmin receivers.

Sweet! I have not seen a product like this that can load the maps directly into Garmin receivers. Thanks for confirming their claims. :victory:

No Sweat

Happy to answer any questions you may have, i have been using them for about 3 years now for races, camping and exploring, awesome resource!

The guy that runs LB Maps is a very cool dude! Think his name is Larry, and he periodically sends out updates for free.

DISCLAIMER: GPS SOFTWARE IS ONLY A REFERENCE!

DONT RELY ON THEM AND THEM ONLY!

Or you might find yourself in the middle of Mex with no gas because the PEMEX you saw on your GPS software didnt exist anymore! Hmm, that sounds familiar! :D
