My 02 DC taco came with 16 inch rims and 265/75-16 tires. I have a set of 90ish Toyota 15 inch rims that I would love to make my off-road rims. I know they would not fit on my 98 4Runner due to the front disks. But the Taco brakes look much smaller. I know I could always take off the tire and try, but thought I would ask.

Does your Taco have ABS? If so, it will most likely not fit.

No I do not have ABS, but the 4rnr does... is that the magic item?

Thanks Jay

Sorry Jay - I read it too fast and didn't realize it was a DoubleCab. ABS, VSC and different calipers shouldn't be a related issue. There are a bunch of different calipers out there that make some trucks fit things and others not. But 4WD doublecabs are pretty consistent.

15x7 Toyota wheels should fit. I have personally seen late 80's 4Runner SR5 15" wheels fit on a 2001 DoubleCab.
