Bulletin: Reports just in that Wild Turkey Gobblers in the NW PA area are quaking in fear on the news that Haggis' bonny wee lass, Allison, has passed her Hunters Safety Course and has acquired a PA Junior Hunting License. Reports of her marksmanship skills are filtering through the Gobbler community and have many longbeards worried about their early demise during the spring season. Tom, a 2 year old longbeard, says that he'll keep one eye over his tail fan just to make sure he's not critter fricassee on Allison's family table. Yeah Allison!!!!:wings:

Very cool! :clapsmile I can remember my first hunts with both of my sons-that is what life is all about. I assume that you've warned her about how addictive this can be? Good luck and share any more successes.

Ally and I thank you for your kind words, 'ppreciate it. Allison's been on quite a few hunts with me and her Papa so knows the fun involved and she's also not shy about getting involved with the skinning and processing end either. She's just really exited about being the one to do the harvesting. I'm more exited about huntin season than I've been in years. Makes you feel young agian.

Jim you comin up to put a hurt on these birds, I think they'll outnumber the mosquitoes this year. Wake up evey morning with a least 4 gobblers talking in the dawn. Though there has been alot of people scoutin out on the Game lands.

Alas, and sadly, nay. It hath been decreed "No extra time away from thine slaving until after articles of retail hath been inventoried!" Of course this means me no play must worky.

We have turkeys all over the place now here in the mountains in San Diego. They are doing real good up here since being reintroduced a while ago. Most of them are still on the State Park lands which you can't hunt but soon they will be all over the place.

These birds are not hardly afraid of people though, heck I've had to wait while they cross the road.

I bet in 10 years the turkey hunting will be great in the Cleveland National Forrest the way they are spreading.

Congrats to Allison and happy hunting:exclaim:
