Cabin air filter for 05+ Tacoma's!!!

Ran across this last night - searched here first and did not see anything related, so I wanted to mention it...

Think I'll use one of the HEPA / micron type high flow units, but what a great idea!

I bought the largest 3M filter possible at Home depot and get 6 individual filters cut out so that my per filter cost is minimal. Note the arrow on the side showing that the material is directional.

I use duct tape to seal up the open ends that have the _/\/\/\/\_ look to them ao that dirty air does not leak around it.

did this mod tonight. Got the HEPA Micro Super Ninja 3M Filter at Home Depot, cut it to 8 X 8.5, speed taped the edges and slid her in! I can actually smell the difference. I am hoping this will eliminate dust in the vents as well as keep the air cleaner. The fan output was mildly affected, but well within acceptable limits.

I would imagine this is an option made for a Lexus. Seems odd to have it and not use it.
