The North Face makes some really nice ones too!

One of the guys we were with on our Death Valley Trip, had 2 big black ones on his roof that he said were water tight and such. Looked very heavy duty!

I just bought one of these Bigfoot bags, small cargo model. I've tested it for fit with some gear and in/on the car, but haven't used it yet. It looks well made, though getting the zippers to slide around the corners takes some fiddling.

In my case it has most potential as a storage bag on a half-width basket on my roof rack (45 long, 20 wide). I still need to work out the tie down system, but there are enough cinch straps and carry handles to secure it.

Not far off topic...
I bought an 2" open cell foam pad with a cover from cabelas. When I roll it tight, it is still a little too big to fit in a traditional army duffle bag. Any know of slightly larger stuff sack style bag? Does not need to be water proof, just to contain the pad and keep out dust.

I have the base camp duffel. Waterproof, large, and has backpack straps. I like it but they run about $120.

These things are absolutely waterproof. The opening instructions are important because the seal is very strong (speaking from experience). Spouse and I each have one of the small Ocoee for personal clothing and items (and she likes to use her's for a pillow). We use two of the Yukons for packinig other stuff we want to protect from the elements.

I've never tested them for waterproof but they keep stuff dry in rainy conditions. They are also fairly inexpensive, around $20 for the larger size and $12 for the smaller ones.

Where I get everything, Walmart.:hillbilly:
They hold up well, I've use mine on serveral Rubicon trips and a more than a few other camping trips. I've probably had them for three or four years.
