Jason de Monto of Airpark Jeep in Scottsdale posted a photo to www.jkboard.com of a Jeep running BFG Mud Terrain tires of a
new design, and sporting new minimal fenders.

The Jeep appeared at a trail run sponsored by AEV. The vehicle is supposed to be a Jeep factory development mule. I believe it's wearing a Michigan license plate.

Here's another one-off pickup based on the JK. The image was posted by Brad Kilby

Jeep is building a vehicle like this for the Egyptian army today, based on the TJ. This may be a development truck for the process of switching from TJ to JK.

Another one-off that will never see the light of day (ahem*Gladiator*ahem) or a new possibility for down the road I wonder....

I had a chance to look at one of the new BFG Mud Terrains at an auto show a while back. It was on the concept Hummer truck they were displaying.

My initial impression was that other than the extra sidewall lugs, the tires haven't changed much. I could see the extra traction gains on off-camber surfaces, but overall it didn't feel like a big change to me. Which was a good feeling because I just bought a new set of MT's last month!

Yep, another really neat product that we will never see sold in this country....

i think those BFGs are prototype limited editions, i dont think they were ever planning on mass producing them. i read something about them in a 4x4 mag a couple months back. they look alot like the wrangler mtrs or the toyo rip offs.
