this goes for the 01-04 tacomas, it might work on the pre-01 trucks but i cant be sure. unlike the other door dinger mods this one allows the doors to not lock when the keys are in the ignition

Remove lower portion of drivers side dash to gain access to the fusebox
Disconnect the wires and remove wire retainer
Remove the relay and use a screwdriver to remove the cover

Nice write up... unfortunately you can not cross link pictures from TTORA on to here... so all we see is the red X's. :removeredX: Maybe try Photobucket? I have been meaning to do this mod...

Or..... you could just do like i did on my 96 tacoma and unplug the switch for the buzzer in the door, problem solved. I dont have a newer model tacoma so im not exactly sure if that will work but it seems like it would.

it will work, i did it that way once.. but the only problem was that the doors would lock with the keys in the ignition
