Its nice to see the finished product.
There was a thread on it (here) (http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=21731), but not with the finished version.

Sweet build and I love the detail. I have a scale RC JK, but no where near that quality. I did the RC hobby for a while while finds for full size were tight.

I am positively drooling. Those are mad skills.
I think I mentioned this before when this build came up, but here goes again:
Years ago I accidentally ran across a build thread by a professional modeler that was building a Unicat-style camper, on a MB cab-over chassis. In the thread I found he was describing how he did the wood grain on the dash. Anyway, same kind of attention to detail and quality work, IIRC.
Anyone know of any other top-shelf model builds?

i don't know if you meant just radio controlled, or "expedition" models, or just "OCD" models - which most of them can develop into! but here some stuff you can poke through:

That's quite a list, southpier!
Guess I should have been more specific. Don't care if it's RC, but looking for overland truck models.
Thanks.

I came across a 1/18 scale die-cast model of a WJ I'm considering buying and building to to match mine as close as possible!

FYI, Scale Auto magazine is a great publication for anyone that's into building plastic models. http://www.ScaleAutoMag.com
