Not mine but a friends.
http://www.artofexploring.com/blackmoose/blackmoose.html
The website owners are who originally built it (they are the Yellow Rubi Unlimited also pictured and they also have a 4 door Rubi) but sold it to our other friend.
It has a fuel injected 4.0 from 90's Jeep. T19(?) and a 20 case. The 20 rear was replaced with a D44 with a warn full floater kit out of her husbands Scout when he went to a D60. Front is also a D44 from the scout with Warn shafts. Rear is a Detroit and I think the front has a Ez in it. Its a pretty well set up rig.

Still listed as Kristy's but it now belongs to Paul. Kristy built it more for trail so it has racing buckets. Paul is going to drive it a LOT and putting back in nicer seats and redoing the stinger and other body armor some to make it a little more street friendly.

Here's an older pic of mine, I've since added off your rocker corners and rockers, a front cage, and a fast track soft top with the tinted rear windows.

Not a Scrambler per se, but the Jeepney of the Philippines is a great
example of a Jeep with stretched frame and open back. The original
Jeepneys were based on **real** jeeps, the WW2 vintage Willys models.

Here's one I sold...

I sold it to a great kid that was getting married in a week. He showed up with his fiancee to pay for it. After he gave me the asking price, I gave him back $200.00 and said congratulations...Here's a wedding gift. The look on their face was worth it. I'll see if I can find a pic of what he has done with it.

And here it is in it's current state...King coils in the front and on it's way to being bad. If your around San Diego keep your eyes open for it.

Here's mine:
If you're reading this, maybe you'd like to know that there's a bright yellow one sitting in the lemon lot in Cedar Park, TX.
IIRC they're asking $9500. It has the 4-cyl under the hood and a supposedly-good 6-cyl sitting in the back.
I may be able to get more info if you want it.
No connection, yadda yadda. I personally think the price is high, but I think everything is too expensive.

Very cool. I had an 82 Scrambler...4.10's, 33's, lockright, etc. Fun rig, went anywhere...I actually sold it for what I paid for it, which is rare anymore.

I want a Stak 4 spd case but it's not in the budget. So I may run a np231-d300 doubler, at least for now. It had coil overs, a 4 link rear, and a 5 link front but it will have leafs this go around. I plan on running 39" Iroc's.

I took it off of a Westfalia knock-off called a Country Home Camper. VERY COZY!!! I spent 3 weeks solo camping in baja in her last December.
BTW: Welcome home man!

Jack,
I just saw your question about my sliders. If you're still wondering, they are made by Sun Performance. They are actually the CJ7 sliders. When you put the TJ flares on a CJ8, the space that is left is 10 inches shorter and the CJ7 sliders fit perfectly.

A scrambler with a newer diesel would be the ticket. They are the coolest.

I was watching 'Digging for the Truth' on the History Channel and the host and an archaeologist were driving around Israel in a YJ scrambler. (YJ front end, hood fenders) Maybe I can scrounge up a pic of it.
