Thanks for taking the time to post the pictures. Very helpful as a winter break for those of us stuck at home in crummy weather.

Cool! How did you manage to bring back a JK from 18,000 years in the future? Does the world look anything like it does today?

You own a 20,011 JK? You put it in the title as well as the post.

So how do you like the 2011 compared to your '07?

So how do you like the 2011 compared to your '07?

I like it a lot better, few reasons for that.

1. the interior is lot better quality ,doesnt scratch and nicer design.
2. this time I got the power package this is the first time I have a jeep
with power package and im preety happy with this. also the satelite radio.

3.the ride is the same.

4.the hard top is growing on me.

5.the paintjob is better than the 07 , the 07 had a lot of paint missing in some spots.

6.under the jeep it seems like the frame and diferentials have been painted
on the 07 there where not It looked ugly.

7.....no recalls yet ! no stallbug yet!
i was frustrated with all the recalls on the 07

8. auto transmision cooling....."on the o7 there was a recall for this that will cause he jeep to go on fire" so one less worrie ...
i recieved this recall after i sold the jeep ,4 years later ..go figure

what I dont like..

gears ! my 07 came from the factory with 4.10 this one did not.
im going to have to change that.
.................................................. ............................................

for distance travel,,I still think the JK is the King.

on the other side,, for shorter trips, narrower trails,4x4 playing still
my favorite is the TJ -LJ....
I was about to sell the LJ because I had a momentary oportunity
to get a land rover santana fixed up, but everything got cancell.
and im glad i did not sell it. planing on keeping it for a long time.

What really bugs me on the new interior is all the simulated chrome details and the sterling wheel.
I mean, I am sure the guy that did the new design had NEVER did 1 single mile of off road in his life, probably is a NYC urban rat. If not how could he possibly put so many electronics in a JEEPs sterling wheel?? Just figure yourself getting into it after halping a friend out of a mudpit... and the radio buttons!!!!! I change station at almost every corner of 90 degrees or more. And he also never drove the jeep without the roof with the sun seting on his back, or he would never fashined the sterling wheel and console with silver color and chrome.

what I dont like..

If you are not a rock crawler 4.10 is overkill

for distance travel,,I still think the JK is the King.

I'll do 25k miles with my son with my JKU starting June. If you're on our path consider yourself invited to be part of it. :-)
