Gobi Rack with AEV Rear bumper

Hi Guys, I am a big fan of AEV products and plan to get their front bumper for my 09 JKU Rubicon. I would also love to get their rear bumper as well but here is the problem: I also have a Gobi Stealth roof rack. I like quality products, and Gobi is the best rack money can buy hands down. That is why I would like to mate this rack with the AEV rear bumper, but I am told they do not match up. Does any one have any solutions? Has Gobi or AEV thought of a solution? Help me mate these quality products for an amazingly functional expedition rig.

There is a full thread on AEV site about this. Ill try and find it for you later. But from reading it you have to come up with another mount for the rear hoop. Take a look at this.

GOBI offers a mount that bolts through your rear quarter vs mounting to the frame. This is the only way outside of removing/ modifying the H2O tanks.

Since you already had the GOBI, if you do plan to use the rear AEV bumper, you will need a new rear support bar and bolt through design.

option 2:

Go with a Expedition One rear bumper. Excellent build quality, finish, and fit are perfect IMO!!! This bumper will integrate with the GOBI without any modification.
