Cool man. So all you did was a torsion crank for the front and shackles on the rear? How is that working out for you? How much did you lift the front and what size shackles for the rear?
I like the procomp bar.
And welcome to ExPo!

Good deal. The AC and SLR shackles actually give a full 2" of lift over stock. Also, the powdercoating won't flake off after 2 months.
I did a PML (Poor-man's-lift, shackles & t-bar crank) on an Xterra a couple weeks ago, using SLR shackles, and he ended up about 2.5" over stock overall. I just cranked the t-bars until the rockers were parallel with the garage floor. Heh.
That's one thing I really like about the Xterras, is the ability to get 2" of lift for under $100 in under an hour.:jumping:
Welcome aboard.:luxhello:

lookin good glowingreen. thats roughly what mines gonna look like, but only about 8" tall. my old mans been tinkerin' with it for about 3 wks now. i'm not using carpet though. he's got 4 coats of matte black paint and 3 coats of matte poly on top of that. then we're gonna put some aluminum slats on top. kinda like an old school truck bed. i just built the portable bar/cooking table on sunday. then we're taking it on its maiden camping voyage on memorial day wknd. can't wait!!!!

i hear ya vengeful. imports are way easy to lift and lower. i've had a couple of mazda lowriders back in the day. and lifting the X was just as easy as lowering the mazdas! my t-bars are cranked about as far as can be. so realistically i think i got like 2ish in the front. sitspretty level maybe just hair taller in front. yea prerunner style!!!

if u get calminis, get them from www.knowwhere2jeep.com when i ordered mine he didn't have them in stock, had them drop shipped factory direct and still didn't charge me shipping. that guy is pretty cool! he runs it outta his house.

Go with the SLR shackles. They're the best ones available without a doubt.

Just out of curiosity...if you're interested in the Calmini's, why not order directly from them?

honestly calmini seemed like a PITA to order from so i just got mine off that guy. and i think they would've charged shipping. also, i got the procomp bar from a place we deal with @ work(I'm an auto painter). so i get parts fairly cheap. its called Keystone Automotive. www.ekeystone.com

Calmini is a PITA to deal with. Just google Calmini Problems, and see for yourself.

I like some of their products but am having some issues with the steering/idler arm right now. Just not real happy with the answers I've been getting.

It hasn't been quite 2 weeks yet. Patience my friend. They may be waiting on a run from the powdercoaters. Sometimes it can take up to 3-4 weeks to recieve them depending on their stock.

At least you're not waiting for the remanufactured Calmini idler arm. I had to ship it to them, wait a little over two months while the truck sat idle before getting back on the road. Well built but design needs some rethinking.
Good thing is you're vehicle isn't sitting idle.

Yeah, Calmini told me it'd be three weeks or so. Starting after 21 days I was on the front porch or looking out the front door a lot.
