Hey all, new here and so direct me in the right direction of this has been covered already. I am getting ready to do a trans fluid change and was just wondering what the groups recommendation on fluid is? I was thinking about amsoil but they don't seem to list any of their fluids as suitable for our transmissions? I also own a lancer evo and I know you can sub amsoil for some parts of drive train but diaqueen only for others so, thoughts? Oh this would be for a 94 SR
Thanks ahead of time for replies

To be safe, just use mitsu auto tranny fluid. These tranny's are exceptionally reliable with the stock Dino fluid and usually going well over 250k miles without requiring a rebuild. What is recommended is regular annual fluid flushes... But again just use mitsu fluid.

Also, I personally know someone who made the mistake of using Mobil 1 fluid claimed to be ok for all mitsu auto granny's. He ended up destroying the tranny.:Wow1:

I've been getting my Mitsu AFT from these fellas on the east coast.
It's cheaper than my local dealer and there is no sales tax.
