Gotta sell the 87. Love it, but as the 3 kids are getting bigger, I need a few more seats. Below is the quick list, but pm or email (gillti@mac.com) for more pics and info.

I also think I should blame SOCalfj for some of this. . . His rig is just so cool, I want my 96 to be just like his. . .

Price: 5000.00
Location: Loma Linda SoCal. Right beside Redlands

The good:
CA Cruiser, no rust!
Head Gasket replaced less than 3000 miles ago.
2.5 Inch SOR lift
33 inch Procomps with aftermarket rims
Lock-right in the rear
Tuffy Lock-box
CB
Sony Head Unit
Interior Clean
Dash Pad
33 inch spare
Red Top Optima, 3 months old.
Just ran the mojave trail, 500 miles in a weekend and not one engine issue!
Newly powdercoated confer roof rack 4ft by 6ft (Add 300 dollars)
Passed smog in Dec with flying colors

the bad:
227 miles on the clock, original drive train.
Needs powersteering pump and gearbox. Gearbox leaks pretty bad.
Crack in original dash, thus the dash pad
No cargo area carpet. Was pretty tattered, so let it go.

Any more questions? PM me or email, gillti@mac.com

and working on a .mac site with many more.

Bump for a clean rig! Sad to see it go but as long as the money goes into the 80 it's all good.

My conscious wouldn't let me sleep knowing that I passed off Rover reliability for your Yota:D

You know what they say. . ."90% of the landrovers sold are still on the road today!

The rest made it home. . ."

Just kidding, I'd kill for your rig.

Bump for new pics.

But it would be fun to have in HI! My wife grew up on Molokai. I'm envious.

Yeah, your rig is my desktop picture right now. Good stuff. When I sell the 60 I will begin a thread called the "slowest build-up ever".:wings:

SoCal, not selling it, sorry, already have moved it onto the 80:wings: (see pics) But now I NEEEEEED to lift this thing. Looking to run 33's under it. Heck, I'd consider trading the 60 for 80 mods. (Doubt anybody would be into that). Gotta consolidate to one cruiser. The third row is a must with the 3rd child.

Then, and only then, does the slow build process begin.

I really dig your 60. At times I think about selling the 80 and going with something more square and cool-looking. Actually, if I could find a HJ60 I would...

Anyway you don't need a lift to fit 33" tires. They will fit stock.

Thanks for the info blu. Good to know.

60's are great rigs, don't really want to sell it, but gotta decide which one to build. Can't be both at this time. At the same time, it seems like the market has dropped out of the 60 market a bit. I blame it on the 80's finally coming down in price to make them vehicles you don't feel bad about putting some work into.

If I can't get something reasonable for it, I'll keep it and play around with it little by little, while still focusing on the 80 for a while. Who knows, that might work out better in the end anyway. it just keeps everything moving slower. :Mechanic:
