Fridge in the bed

Has anyone experienced any issues storing their Engel or Waeco in the bed of their truck? That is just about my only option since the dog usually occupies a good portion of the Xtra-cab. I do have a topper shell and plan on sealing the tailgate area to keep out as much dust as possible. I'm also planning on a transit bag and either a pull-out slide or a slide lock.

Mine has been in the back of my Tacoma numerous times over the years, never an issue... I just give it a good cleaning when I return back to civilization. :D

One of my Engels has lived in the back of my mog since the day I got it, its not even covered other than with its transit bag. If its damp I'll throw a tarp over it but it wouldn't be the first time its got wet.
