(Edit, some new mods added 9.12.07)
Hi all,

Been lurking here a while and thought it was time I introduced myself and my rig.

A little info about me:

Originally I hail from Madison, WI but had to leave the cheese heads, the Packers, and the flat land behind. From there I spent a few years in San Jose living and working, but quickly (with help from the wife) realized it was not the place where we wanted to start a family. I knew a few people living along the Wasatch front, took a few extended weekend trips there and knew it was the place. We moved to Salt Lake City in Jan. 2001 and have never had any regrets.

Motorsports has always been an interest of mine whether it is Formula 1, Moto GP or Camel Trophy I like it all....well except NASCAR (sorry NASCAR fans). I got involved in wheeling with the help of a few friends, hearing their stories about Moab made me want to get a rig to go join in on the fun.

I started out in 2005 with an expedition ready 01' Tacoma with the following mods:

- Front Suspension: 8” Travel King Coilovers with Remote Reservoir,
Limit Straps, Total Chaos UCA, Cornfed Diff Drop, Manual Hubs
- Rear Suspension: Alcan Leafsprings with Bilstein 5150
On-board Reservoir Shocks
- Bumper and Sliders by Badland Bumpers
- Energy Suspension Polyurethane bushings throughout
- Hayden transmission cooler
- 285/76/16 BFGoodrich ATs
- Canvas topper, by softtopper.com
- DIY CO2 system

It was a great rig but with 2 toddlers and family always coming to visit I needed something bigger with more seating; and a minivan was out of the question.

I purchased my 99' UZJ100 in Feb. 07' bone stock and wasted no time getting it ready for camping and wheeling.

The mods go something like this:

Tires:
295/75/16 Nitto TG's

Lift:
OME N133 front shocks
OME T-Bars
OME 863 rear springs
OME N74L rear shocks
OME 840 bushings (needed to run the N74L 80 series shocks)
Slee diff drop

Armor:
ARB Winch Bull Bar
Slee Rear Bumper w/ tire carrier
Slee step sliders

Extras:
Waeco CF-50 Fridge
Ironman Dual Battery Kit
Optima Yellow Top
Lightforce 240's
4300K HID Headlights

Future Plans:
Outback drawers
Warn winch
Safari Snorkel

So far I've only had her out on a few day trips, nothing to interesting....I hope to get out soon and follow up with trip report!

Welcome! I've been toying with the idea of a 100 series for a daily driver lately, so I'm psyched to see some more representation on here in case I have to pick some brains of experts.:)
