What do you guys think about this rig:

My buddy wants a dd/trail rig. I know nothing about Landcruisers. But I'm trying to steer him towards a Toyota rather than a Jeep :D
Google the engine "L6 239" couldn't find anything on it. The ad says it a stock engine but I doubt it.
Thanks,
Jim

Looks like a tidy FJ40. If there is no rust and a stock engine, it could be a good starting point. It will have 'three on the tree". BTW that's an I6 4.X liter (can't remember exact displacement, though I owned one from '72 to '84) with carburation.

The L6 239 is the Inline-6 239 cu.in. displacement or 4.2 litre. Stock engine.
If you're buddy's still looking for an FJ40, PM me as I am looking to sell mine.

If you are not willing to travel for a good Land Cruiser then don't waste your time looking for one locally. He could find 20 times the number of Jeeps in good condition for every decent LC he finds.
