That's a reasonably good deal for a two year old flippac if it's undamaged and clean...which it appears to be. New ones are $3300 and this includes the optional carpeted bed seats/storage...a 3-400 dollar option (don't recall exactly). Flippacs are great! :)

Hello Louie,
Your signature says "Flippac Custom Camper Build" so I clicked on your link b/c that sounded pretty interesting...but I see it's a rooftop tent, not a flippac...or have you changed something that's not in the pics?

I looked at this flip-pac today. Anyone in the area wanting one should jump on this. It is in good shape, a few blemeshes, but for 2k, it' a great deal. I was considering going that route, but I think I have other plans.

The rooftop tent was just to small. The Flip Pac that I am working on now is custom to say the least. I have been really bad about posting the pictures up for everyone to see. I am just under the gun for its first trip. I am in the process of converting my Flip Pac into a slide in truck camper. The camper is not ready but I have 48 more hours, plus on minus! Leaving for about 10 day at Outer Banks NC on Friday. 5 of us Camping on the beach with the Flip Pac.
The short story is that I have added 5 inches to the bottom of the Flip Pac, added 4 1/4 inches to the back, added a center door were the tailgate and glass was and build the Flip Pac so it is fully closed off inside(floor and walls). Just like a slide in truck camper. But better looking because its all fiberglass. I also build the Flip Pac to lift up on four removable jacks just like a truck camper.
Your truck was used in an thread here for a Photoshop of the build before my Flip Pac was delivered to me from CA. in Jan. I Photoshopped the door and rear wall to your truck!:)

Louie,
Your Flippac build sounds really interesting. I look forward to seeing pics when you have the time. Did you build interior cabinets with a stovetop and sink, like a slide-in camper would have? I've thought seriously of doing that...just haven't taken the time or effort.
Hope you have a great trip to the Outer Banks...I've been there briefly once a long time ago when I lived on the east coast...would like to go back sometime but now it's a looong drive:)
