Desolation and Gray's Canyon's coming up

May 18-22nd. Looking forward to seeing it again. Haven't been down there in about 10 years or so. I'll be rowing my Avon Pro. Running about 10k last time I checked.

Anyone familiar with this section at higher water levels? I've run it twice at under 10k but the BLM is predicting a 61k high flow this year. It's currently at about 20k and rising. What happens to the river at 30k or above? Do the rapids flatten out or do they get humongous? What about campsites? Trying to figure out if there's a cut off flow beyond which it would be wise to forego the trip.
