I'm Dave the Noob here, referred by calamaridog over at IH8MUD, so blame him.

I live in Flagstaff, AZ , just cross town from Hltoppr. Just got into LC's. I was a Jeep guy.

I ran the gamut of Jeeps, 43 MB, 72 CJ5, 77 CJ5, 79 CJ7. and my Wag

This was my last vehicle: 87 Grand Wagoneer, 3 inch lift, 31-10.50 BFG ATko's. Did OK but I like the passenger capabilities of the 80 much better.

This is the new one. 1993 FZJ80 stock. (for now) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v46/Mogas/72fc6f94.jpg

I bought this winch/bumper (TJM 17/MileMarker 9k) off another friend to put on and my future upgrades are to be a snorkel, an OME lift, home built sliders, a homebuilt tire carrier, homebuilt roof rack and that's probably about it, but you know how that goes. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v46/Mogas/68477a5b.jpg

I also have an old M416 that I bought from Hltoppr 4 or so years ago. I have plans for it too. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v46/Mogas/871b3cf9.jpg

This is me at Pico de Orizaba New Years Eve 2004.

I think I'll be hanging out over here every once in a while and I hope I can contribute to the board.

Welcome Dave. Great cruiser and keep us posted on the mods as they come along. I love the 80's as well, but would not give up my Trooper for anything.

There goes the neighborhood!

It took awhile for the "mudders" BMT, Skeddy and I to turn MoGas from the dark side...

Welcome!!!

Congrats on your new 80!!! They are great, and you have some great people in your "neck" of the woods to help you out. Nice pic on the mountain too!!!

Welcome, welcome!

It looks like you have owned a nice selection of vehicles. Now you have one of the best.

I look forward to your adventure posts and maybe even meeting in person. One day Chris and I should run up north for lunch and a mtn. bike ride or climb.
