M 416 rear bumper

Anyone make or fab up a rear bumper for their M-416? I'd like something that would give some protection with a 2 " hitch to mount something like a bike rack. I remember years ago someone posting on the net that a con Ferr rea tube bumper bolted on with some small mods. Thanks Mike

Here's how I did the 2" reciever. I put 2x3 tubing behind the origonal rear cross member. cut the hole in the center for the reciever to fit through. The Reciever tube is tied into the second cross member with gussets and welded to the 2x3 tubing as well. see the attachment. Sorry about the quality, I only had my Camera phone at the moment. I will be working on it tomorrow and I'll get some better pics from underneath. (with a real camera!)

Added this to my 416, the "leg" in the receiver is used as a deadman when the tent is open. Not my ultimate set up, but it does what I need it to. I hope to make a tire carrier of some sort.
