Lost Rock Art Expedition

This weekend my family and I will be heading into a canyon that is rumored to have Rock Art. After talking with a friend who is an Archeologist for the BLM in Nevada he asked if we would record any findings. He said that indeed there are rumors but no confirmation or records of any Rock Art in the this canyon. I will also be posting any findings here as well.

Yes, photos are it. There was one vacation we had that all we had was a camera, no extra money. But it was the most fun.

We are back from our expedition. We are all pretty exhausted from all the trail runs and general foot exploration. We have tons of pictures and will start posting them as soon as we get settled in and get a much needed shower. The wife said "Theres a on board truck shower in our near future". Man is she right. We had a blast but the heat really drained us. I will be talking with my Archeologist friend here in the next few days to see if we recorded some previous unknown Petroglyphs. These were not found in the canyon we were in but in a very hard to reach location. OK off to the shower and will be posting pics later.

First night out. Full Moon rising as we were setting up our camp. We did not get to bed until about 12 midnight. Friday my wife left the bank late and the drive was about 2 hours. Will post more in the morning.
