While we are well known for our trailers here at AT, we are also known for kitting out vehicles. it is not often that we get to work on a beautiful LR such as this one. We thought we would share here the various mods that included bumper, winch, lights, protection, GPS, 2M radio, security items, cargo management, storage solutions, power system, air system....just to name a few, Enjoy the pics :)

Not too much of a fan of that compressor location. Just seems too exposed. I was under my chassis the other day and that particular area of my rig is all beat to crap (its a 109, so similar-ish-kinda chassis).

That box is baller.

Did ARB re-do the Defender bumper??? Looks...unusual. Winch mount seems a lot lower than the old one.

It is well above the frame rail and the Extreme Outback compressor is rated to run submerged, hence our snorkel for the intake. We installed dual batteries under the drivers seat so no room there. Under the passenger side seat we have electronics.

Thanks

Yes it is a new design.

What did you install on the rear tailgate? Is it a door sensor for the alarm system or something?

Yeah, what is that?

Yeah, what is that?

external lock mounts that allow the use of a padlock.
since it is a open top...i imagine it keeps the tailgate shut preventing the bed box from being opened.

just a guess.

That is correct. It is a hasp for a padlock. While the drawer is locking and the door has a locking mechanism, additional "visual" security was desired by the owner. This product is no longer available but we had access to one.
