I like to try new stuff at home, where having a diaster means calling for take out rather than eating charred remains.
Always trying to trim down my kit I decided that using a griddle on my BBQ would be a great replacment for a stove. Since I had a griddle my mom gave me, I thought I'd give it a whirl.

The rusty Test kitchen:

I started with the chicken it was marinated in Olive oil, Lemon Juice, Garlic, Chili Powder, Oregano, Cummin Powder, salt and pepper.

After it had started to brown I added some Peppers and Onions.

Jake was standing by to help, if the need arose.

Almost done, warm the tortillias and slice the tomatoes and avacado.

Damn, I wish I had picked up some Pyrats and Ginger snaps. It feels almost like we are camping!

Nice! I'll split camp cooking duties with ya anytime. I like people that can cook in the woods. :chowtime:

Twin City Surplus, they only had one left last time I checked and they doubled the price from when I got mine. That thing is the ****z, never a speck of dust inside. I could roll my rig in a river and the stuff inside would stay dry. And it's aluminium so it is actually about the same weight as the same size plastic box.

I don't need to be associated with anymore "special" people.:shakin: However I do enjoy good food. Did your case, have a label for it's "intended " use?

I guess I need to work on a Jamaican entrée in the test kitchen next, to go with the rum theme.

Jamaican Jerked chicken legs?

They are used by medical outfits for transporting MASH equipment. Mine had something to do with x-ray.
