Hey guys,
Here are some pics of my Canadian M101 1/4 ton trailer restoration and subsequent Mombasa tent mod afterwards. It is a great little setup for camping trips and Big Bend expeditions. These are great little trailers.
The first pic is on the day it was shipped to Texas, and the last pics are after the sanding, repainting, and lid/tent install. Simple and lots of fun.
Pardon the poser pics; I don't have the newer ones downloaded in low-res format.

That looks awesome. I had a 416 locally for 500 bucks but the back had been cut out to haul a quad so I decided to pass. Still looking. Good job.

The trailer cost about $ 940 shipped. They are hard to come by this far south, so I had to have it shipped from New Jersey. I think I paid about $ 650 for the trailer itself.

However how many did you had to order to get that price, they quoted me 1900 for one delivered!

I ordered 3 to get that price. Seems like they have gone up a good bit since then though.

A friend of mine purchased a Canadian M101 and it took 4 months to get it to Phx Az. $500. We cut the suspension off and installed a Wrangler 4leaf pack kit from Quadratec that include everthing else (axle mounts, shackles, frame mounts etc) for $350. Fabbed together a top from 14g steel that looks alot like an AT Chaser top for $350.00. Added Rancho 5000 shocks. Spindles, bearing and seals to match his Jeep 5 on 4 1/2. All tolled..$1500 after paint and front battery box. Made a great trailer for his RTT.
:iagree: they are great little trailers

Looking good! I especially dig the skinny tires.
