I am Selling a Manual Six speed FJ cruiser 2008 with 37,500 miles. $32,000 Blackfoot, Idaho. I have done many mods that I learned about on the FJ Cruiser site. Thanks to Belly Doc, FJnewb and many others. Here is a list of installed parts. I have over $10, 000 in improvement mods and warranty. This does not include any labor. I also have the All Pro gussets and Toyota spindle knuckle seals that I have not put on yet. They go with the sell. Why am I selling? I have decided to purchase a 1997 Toyota Land Cruiser. I want a SAS front axle. Everything works and this vehicle is cherry. There is no noise from 6 speed transmission. There are some light scratches on rear hatch and near driver door. See pictures. This is Toyota Certified Vehicle and also has the Platinum warranty ($0 deductible) that runs concurrent until 9/15/2015. Buyer is responsible for the $50.00 fee.

First of all, I joined this forum recently because many of the members use older Toyota Cruisers on their adventures. I am in the process of buying an FJ80 myself. Secondly, in my 62 years, I have traveled all over the world on expeditions and guided in Alaska for many years, so I am interested in other persons travels. I was interested in this site because of a atavistic need to keep on adventuring. If I put this ad in the wrong place, pardon me and please educate me where it should have gone. I looked for a classified section on Expedition Portal but could not find it. Now as to price. Lets see...Blue book for this FJC is around $23,000 to $25,000 U.S. I put close to $12,000 in mods into the rig...how is $32,000 overpriced?

Sorry, I just found the sales and wanted section. Can I move this sales thread to this other area?

This is rather a socialistic viewpoint. The Toyota Cruiser I am buying was built in 1997 and has a ton of mods and improvements to suspension, gearing, front end and accoutrements . I am paying over twice what that cruiser is going for as an OEM factory car. I am paying for all those mods so I do not have to do it all myself. I respect the guy who put his hard earned cash into the build. I'll most likely have to do more of the same also.
