Measure what you need and hop on ebay, it's very easy.

If memory serves me right the M101 (canadian) and m416 (usa) use early Jeep CJ (41-53) springs. So getting getting some lift shackles should be as easy as CJ lift shackles are pretty common.

4WD Hardware has 2.25 inch lift shackles, greaseable bolts and bushings for $85+ shipping here:

(looks like they also carry .5 and 1.5 inch lift shackles)

No, i did not do a SOA lift as I don't want that much lift, I'm only running 285/75/146 tires.

Thanks for the info, can anyone else confirm that this will work for a CDN M101 1/4 ton trailer?

Lift shackles are only good for 1/2 their length.
for a 3" lift you would need a 6" shackle.
also, you only lift the back the front eye is fixed.
This forces the wheel forward making it off center in the wheel well.

SOA is the way to lift.
