Those look awesome. I am working on a solution to transport a 7-9 lb propane tank on the outside of an AT Chaser- behind the fender. Mario and Martyn have some prototype clamps they've used. These XL clamps seem like a good option to explore

Since the Quick Fist XL holds objects up to 15” in diameter or about 30” in a linear direction it might be a good idea to explore these, depending on the size. I would add an "L" bracket at the bottom of the propane tank if you do decide to go with the clamps.
