2007 - 2011 Best Year question

Trying to determine best year Tacoma Doublecab from 2007 to 2011 for overall quality. Everyone seems to have some opinion, what is yours?

Also did they offer a locker in rear without TRD package?

I have a 2009 DCSB TRD Off Road 4x4 and compared to the 98 Tacoma I had 10 years ago the quality isn't as good. Dont get me wrong I do love my taco but the truck doesn't feel as solid as the 1st gens. I would buy a Tacoma over any other mid size being made today. You have to have the TRD off road package to get the rear E-locker. If you have any other questions let me know.

I have a 07 DCLB and being my first Toyota it feels pretty solid. I am not sure why Toyota did not put a locker in DCLB TRD .

'09-'10 with auto tranny were subject to the delayed shifting problem. Can be corrected some what through a tsb-covered reprogram. I don't know if 2011 models were affected as well.
Don't bother with the "sport-package" unless you absolutely must have the non-functioning hood scoop.
